The obelisk on Victory Square

This monument was opened in 1982. The Victory Square before revolution of 1917 was named Galickaya, but people used to call it Evbaz (Jewish bazaar).
The monument is 43 meters height, it was raised in honor of the Hero City Kiev. The architects of the obelisk are V.Lashko and L.Semenuk.
