The monument you can find on the right side of the Opera House.
The monument was opened in 1965. Nikolay Lysenko is the author of the classic Ukrainian operas – Natalka-Poltavka, Eneida and Taras Bulba. He used a lot of folk materials in his operas. The authors of the monument are a sculptor A. Kovalyov and an architect V. Gnezidov.
